Run-off Election Day is Tuesday, September 29th; Kim is Democratic Nominee for City Council in Queens 19th Council District – Bayside, College Point, Auburndale, Beechhurst, Whitestone, Bay Terrace, Robinwood; parts of Flushing, Douglaston, Little Neck
At 3:30pm today at Kevin Kim for City Council HQ, the Democratic Nominee for City Council in Northeast Queen’s 19th Council District will be endorsing John Liu for City Comptroller.
On September 15th Kim won a heated Primary campaign, securing over 30% of the vote and besting his nearest competitor by over 500 votes. Liu is facing fellow Councilman David Yassky in the upcoming run-off.
“As I said throughout my campaign for City Council, I proudly support John for Comptroller. Now I’m thrilled to make it formal,” said Kevin Kim. “John came close to the 40% needed to avoid a run-off, but I am confident that he will win on the 29th and I look forward to serving with him in City government.”
